Have a go at Rowing Open Day and Learn to Row Course

Posted by Amanda Jones | September 2, 2014

If you are interested in having a go at rowing we will be holding an open day for anyone over 18 to try rowing at Broxbourne Rowing Club on Saturday 11th October 2014 starting at 10:00am at a cost of £10 per person.

Broxbourne Rowing Club is on Old Nazeing Road, near to The Crown pub, post code EN10 6QU.

Rowing is a water sport and you must be able to swim and should be confident that you will not panic if you fall in.

For those that want to continue and join our learn to row course this will start the following weekend Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October, sessions will run on Saturdays and Sundays (unless informed otherwise) until the end of the year.   The cost is £175 for those 24 and over and a discounted rate of £110 for those between 18 and under 24 years old.

For those under 18 we have separate sessions for juniors, please do email secretary@broxbournerowingclub.org and we will let you know when the next learn to row course will be for juniors.

Please email to confirm (secretary@broxbournerowingclub.org) if you will be attending the open day to give us an idea on numbers.  If you cannot attend the open day you can still attend the learn to row course but do please either come to the club on Sunday 12th October between 9:30 – 10:00am to sign up (please note this is just to sign up not a second open day) or if you are not able to make either of these please confirm by email and we will try to arrange another time.

Further details are on our Learn to Row webpage.
