Coxless four pre-qualifies - June 2009
Broxbourne Rowing Clubs coxless four of Chris Scorah, Simon Robins, Dave Yates and Craig Allan has qualified for the Wyfold Challenge Cup at this years Henley Royal Regatta. Their first race will be on Wednesday 1st July against Agecroft. The race should be at the end of the day so why not pop down after work to show your support and cheer the crew down the course.

Clubhouse Refurbishment - March 2009
Broxbourne Rowing Club has had three clubhouses in its 160 year history, the last of which burnt down in the 1960’s. Since then the club has been housed in a temporary structure that is now in great need to refurbishment. In 2007 we were fortunate to open a new shed to house our fleet of boats but now we have great pleasure in announcing that BRC has been successful in obtaining a grant for £90,000 from Sport England to help refurbish the clubhouse. This is on top of £10,000 grants from Broxbourne and Epping Forest District Councils. Thank you to those that have given us the grants and to those that have helped the club obtain them. The refurbishment is expected to take about 3 - 4 months over the summer, but we plan to run the club as best as we can during this time and thank club members in advance for their patience and flexibility, the clubhouse will be worth it when finished.
